Verdict

Not the worst seller you'll ever see and marginal preference is for Rapscallion. There is no doubt that this is the selection's level; he has a bit of ability but he is not the most straight-forward. Second recently at the track, Jim Best's nine-year-old is fancied to get back to winning ways. Kofi and Can Can Flyer have both won over course and distance, with the former coming here in slightly better form and he must be respected. Honduras is closely matched with Rapscallion at the weights as he gets 7lbs, however he is yet to win in this company although he may be rejuvenated for a change of stable recently. An open contest, with Chunky Lad, a recent Stratford winner very much on the shortlist, and it is Rapscallion who gets the nod.
