Verdict

On hurdles form, Seven Nation Army and Denny Kerrell are readily dismissed against a couple of much higher-rated performers. All of The Gipper’s best form has come on soft or heavy going so CAPITAINE looks the one to beat. Though not looking an easy ride at times over timber, the five-year-old did win a Grade 2 last season and Paul Nicholls has wasted no time in putting him over fences.
