Verdict

A huge field which sees veteran Bulletproof looking to improve on last year’s fifth place. Thundering Home and Lets Go Dutchess have been going well lately but the latter has gone up 11lb for last month’s win here over a much longer trip. Muffins For Tea is only 2lb higher than when second at Chepstow while Jack Bear should find a race this summer if he can brush up his jumping. Phantom Prince has his ground but also an absence to overcome. TREASURE THE RIDGE has only won on the all-weather so far but he’s been improving with experience over hurdles and could be worth risking making his handicap debut over jumps off a fair mark.
