Verdict
SKINFLINT needs a strong pace over this trip but Bryan Carver’s claim is a big tick in his box and the winning pointer can score for the first time under Rules at the chief expense of Black Anthem. The latter is 6lb higher than when well beaten over fences at Huntingdon in March having been better handicapped over hurdles lately. Barton Rose is going backwards and Auld Sod looked beaten when coming to grief at the last at Stratford in a race in which Golander eventually finished third.
