Verdict
Blue Endeavour has shown plenty of promise in all his races to date and can get his head in front today, Penny Pictures and Canon Barney look to be the main rivals. Trained by the in form Paul Nicholl's, this six-year-old has done little wrong in bumpers and hurdles and returned to the track earlier this month to chase home Loup Charter. This is his first venture into handicaps and he looks on a very fair mark. Martin Pipe couldn't be in better form so his contender Penny Pictures has to be given every respect. His third behind Mr Ed in August is classy form and he should go well despite top-weight. Canon Barney is probably gearing up for a chasing campaign but can still make his presence felt against this opposition. Best of the others could be Thrashing, but Blue Endeavour has been given a chance by the handicapper and looks set to open his account.
