Verdict

Keltus has won twice over fences at Hexham including his latest start. He should be in the mix once again but GABRIAL THE GREAT makes more appeal. David Pipe’s charge has a bit to spare with Keltus on these terms having made a winning start over fences over track and trip with the re-opposing War Singer well beaten in third. The latter had previously won at Huntingdon so the form looks solid enough and the Pipe charge can go in again. The remaining pair looks up against it in this company.
