In depth

Verdict

It could pay to concentrate on the top two in the weights. Sandgate showed his first form over hurdles when placed at Worcester last month and should be thereabouts. But KINGSTON MIMOSA won at Ffos Las in June before going close again over these obstacles when head in the closing stages and Mark Gillard’s charge can return to winning ways. Londonia won at Ffos Las in between his more usual modest efforts while Mexican Border has slipped down the weights but has shown no benefit as of yet.
