Verdict

OVER THE PHONE has been in cracking form between the flags and was confidently ridden to win on his debut under Rules at Leicester at the start of the month. There are a few decent pointers in opposition here but the six-year-old has more scope than his rivals and can extend his winning run. Miss Midnight has won a couple of point-to-points recently but Quaddick Lake's impressive win at Bishops Court 15 days ago is probably better than anything the mare's achieved and also gives him the edge over Badbury Rings third Deloughtane. Minireturn could go well, however, with a very accomplished amateur on board.
