Verdict
Hello Hector makes most appeal in the first division of the bumper with The Duckster and Jay Jay Valentine perhaps those that he has to fear most. The selection belied his starting price on debut at Hereford to only go down by a head in a race which featured representatives from several leading yards. He won't need to improve on that form to win this. The Duckster came to the track with a big reputation and was backed accordingly at Worcester only to pull up. It's fair to assume that wasn't his running and it will be interesting to see if his supporters come back for more; he could be a live threat if living up to his home reputation. Jay Jay Valentine looks best of the remainder on all known evidence but the form of his course and distance run leaves him with ground to make up on the selection and this can go the way of Hello Hector.
