    Verdict

Most of these like to race up with the pace so there should be no hanging around. Mercian Prince probably needs further but was second over track and trip in June and has since won over hurdles in France. Though often described as a Stratford specialist, ROMANOR has won and placed around here this summer and still looks fairly treated despite being a pound out of the handicap - he also likes to come late off a fast pace. Peterborough has a 7lb penalty for winning at Worcester on Wednesday but Bathiva is only 5lb higher than when winning easily at the same track last month when Leapaway was tailed off.
