Verdict

Eastwell Smiles has yet to show his best form for Sophie Leech and the grey is likely to need this after a break. Sadler's Star should go close, however, if a spell over fences hasn't blunted his speed while Vintage Fabric won over a longer trip here in April before finishing unplaced at Uttoxeter. No Woman No Cry was successful over C&D on his penultimate start but this can go to DASHING DOC, who showed he was still heading in the right direction when third at Cartmel last month and has much more scope than today's rivals.
