In depth

Verdict

Easyrun De Vassy hasn't run since last of seven at Fontwewll in September but would have an obvious chance on his earlier easy victory over this trip on the same track. Mr Mafia has managed to win nine races and looked as though number ten was imminent when runner-up at Worcester but he ran poorly there next time. Optimistic Bias jumps well and stays and has dropped to a fair mark but Gangster has been well beaten since scoring over 4m at Hexham. BALLYEGAN HERO landed a Class 3 handicap at Stratford convincingly but blundered his way around Hexham next time and hopefully he can get his act together here.
