Verdict

HOURLESS (NAP) landed his hurdling debut in ready fashion at Hexham. He concedes weight as a result but confirmed his wellbeing with a good runner-up effort at Windsor on the level last month. He should progress again and confirm placings with Max Of Stars. Ollie Pears' filly has since scored by a remarkable 68 lengths over course and distance but only three finished that day and the form is modest at best. She meets the selection on the same terms as at Hexham and needs improvement to turn the tables. Milton Harris is a man to be feared in these contests and Secret Sauce makes considerable appeal on debut after joining the yard from Ireland where he was a convincing winner for the Stack yard when last seen. Sgian Dubh is another Flat recruit of some interest.
