In depth
Verdict
Farouk De Cheneau is 2-2 since joining Anthony Honeyball from Nicky Henderson. Both wins have come over shorter than he faces here, but he wasn't beaten far last season over an extended 3m at Southwell and should stay. He's in fine heart but LANDEN CALLING should give him plenty to think about after taking well to fences. An easy winner on chasing debut, he would have been closer to the talented Shearer at Aintree but for a last-fence error when still only beaten under three lengths. Hopefully he'll stay - he's won over 3m - and make the most of the 5lb received from the topweight. Yes No Maybe So isn't pulling up any trees at present and is also 3lb out out of the handicap along with Master Sam Bellamy who seems to have rather lost his way.
