In depth

Verdict

McCoy was on board Chalk It Down when he won a jumpers' bumper on the Polytrack at Lingfield in February and Warren Greatrex' charge will be a popular choice to get off the mark over timber here. But DOVILS DATE has got his act together lately and, with Alan Johns again taking off 10lb, the top weight can resume winning ways. Pearls Legend has been knocking on the door over fences and is only a pound higher than his last winning mark but Tamarillo Grove might need this and is best on fast ground. The four-year-old Marju's Quest will have to improve on his best efforts so far to figure.
