In depth

Verdict

Nothing can be excluded in a tricky contest. Bang On Time enjoys a good record around here but his latest success at this venue came in a race that rather fell apart. He should go well yet again though and his rider's 7lb claim should prove highly beneficial. Ray Diamond may prefer more juice in the ground and Perfect Timing is returning from a fair absence, whilst He's A Bully is really consistent and should appreciate this drop in trip. However, he has been finding actually getting his head in front rather difficult and MOORLANDS JACK is preferred. Trip and ground are fine for him, the Scott yard has found good form of late and he ran a fine race latest when runner-up to Prince De Marais in a well-contested Warwick handicap earlier this month.
