In depth

Verdict

Fox Norton is an interesting declaration here as at the time of writing he's scheduled to run at Huntingdon on Tuesday evening and it would surprise to see this very useful handicap hurdler take up both engagements. Should he bypass Huntingdon, he'd probably be the one to beat but in his presumed absence DORMELLO MO is the choice. Making his fencing debut for the champion trainer, he's been competitive over the past couple of season in good-quality handicap company, including when scoring two impressive victories last term. He'll take some beating here if taking to his new discipline. Minella Present did little wrong when second on his chasing debut to Art Mauresque, a stable companion of the selection. He should benefit from that experience and could prove a danger, although he will need to better the level of form achieved that day.
