In depth

Verdict

Eleanor Bob won twice on heavy going last winter and makes her handicap debut as does Mille Sussurri, who placed at Exeter and Taunton in March. Sastruga was successful over course and distance earlier this month but this is a stronger contest and he has another 7lb to carry. Molly Carew is preferred to Percy Pops of Neil Mulholland’s pair and a case can be made for Landofsmiles and Jamessaintpatrick. But we’ll take a chance on SILENT ASSISTANT as he was an eye-catcher on more than one occasion last season and should have more to offer this winter.
