In depth

Verdict

VICENTE will be another short-priced favourite in this. He fell when odds-on for his chasing bow at Fakenham but was in front at the time and his form over hurdles, which included a second in a Grade 2 in October, was head and shoulders above anything achieved by today's rivals. Veauce De Sivola went backwards after winning a Taunton handicap over timber in February of last year and was tailed off on his fencing debut while Alefou D'Airy has his first run for Jimmy Frost, though did win over hurdles at Pau in December for Jacques Ortet.
