Verdict

Mount Vesuvius bids for a hat-trick on the back of his latest win at Sedgefield but soft ground is a worry for him. There's no such concerns regarding ZALGARRY who won over hurdles in testing ground when trained in France. He ran well in a higher grade race at Ffos Las last month and is preferred to Qoubilai, who has been in better form of late with a placed effort at Market Rasen last month. Detroit Red makes more appeal than Sporting Boy as the latter has done all his winning over shorter trips so far.
