FORGOT TO ASK has a leading chance if finding last year's best as he handles the ground and has no stamina issues. His last three runs have been modest but he probably needed his last outing following a break and this looks his most straightforward assignment for a while, He's given the chance to bounce back. Tommie Beau also has no ground and stamina issues and cannot be left out although the feeling is that the handicapper may have his measure at present. Ballinsker seems to come in and out of form but impressed when making all last time and is a major danger if he stays on this first attempt over more than three miles. Trevada ran okay on chasing debut but this is a tough task on just a second run over fences and he too hasn't gone over three miles before.

Ballinsker (IRE) 11-2 (10-3) Soon led, jumped well, stayed on strongly, ridden run-in, always doing enough, won at Chepstow 3m hcp (3) gs in Apr beating Nestor Park (11-8) by 2 1/4l, 8 ran.
Trevada 9-2 (11-1) Held up in rear, gained a place at 10th, headway chasing leaders before 2 out, went 2nd and stayed on same pace run-in, no chance with winner, 2nd of 6, 1 1/2l behind Small Bad Bob (10-7) at Plumpton 2m 4f hcp (4) gd in May.
