Verdict

Racegoers will be a familiar with a few of the runners lining up in the biggest field of the day. Local trainer Martin Hill has claims with Scorpion Star and Treasure The Ridge, second over a slightly longer trip here last time. Too Many Diamonds was attempting a five-timer when third at Worcester last month, though may now be in the handicapper’s grip. Honey Pound and Karl Marx, at opposite ends of the weights, could go well but there was more encouragement from useful Flat performer CELESTIAL PATH at Worcester last time and he makes his handicap debut on a decent mark.
