Verdict

Dorothy B was sent off favourite for her debut but could only manage fourth while only a length separated Starlit Cantata and More Aspen when both were well beaten at Kempton on their introductions. Spirit Of Alsace didn't fare much better at Newmarket three weeks ago so another chance goes to HOKU. She disappointed on her all-weather debut last time but it was soft ground when she finished second at York in May and a repeat would be good enough to land this. Online Alexander hails from the family of the useful Red Clubs and looks best of the newcomers.
