    Verdict

Oil Strike carries a penalty for last week's victory at Thirsk when Royal Bajan was well beaten. The former should go well again as he won't mind any cut in the ground and neither will top weight Haajes. The latter has won twice over the minimum trip this year while MONSIEUR JAMIE scored over course and distance on his penultimate start when beating Monnoyer. Upped in class at Sandown last time, John Jenkins' charge can get his head back in front in this company. Rock On Candy made a winning return on the Turf at Lingfield and looks the biggest danger off only a 3lb higher mark.
