In depth

Verdict

HELVETIQUE (NAP) was fitted with first-time blinkers when dropped back down to today’s trip at Windsor and made all for an easy success. She’ll likely be raised by more than today’s penalty in the future and can strike again. Thornaby Pearl and Lordsbridge Boy step back up in distance with a shout but Bibulous will be sharper for last month’s handicap debut and makes more appeal. Torvi is another with scope having failed to handle the track at Chester on her reappearance.
