Verdict
John Gosden has a good chance of taking both divisions as Spanish Aria was staying on strongly over 7f on Polytrack at Lingfield. Her earlier efforts on fast going were only moderate and it's possible she needs softer ground. Winterkoenigin is another who was staying on over slightly shorter at Ffos Las and is definitely the type to make progress while Hidden Pearl is bred for this trip and one to keep an eye on. Eesha Lovely started favourite on her debut at Kempton but never got going and finished tailed off last. Connections will be looking for a much better run here though the vote goes to Godolphin's YA HALA, a half-sister to seven winners who fetched 155,000gns at the Horses in Training Sale at the Guineas meeting in May.
