Lyrica's Lion completed a double in mid-summer before changing yards and being narrowly beaten at Newmarket and Goodwood. He's up again in the weights and this looks tougher. Gravina, a winner over this trip at Newmarket in July, hasn't been able to cope with a 4lb rise in subsequent races but has only had seven runs and has more to offer. Angelina D'Or, a winner at Lingfield for Mark Johnston, hasn't progressed as expected and maybe a change of surroundings will help. Michele Strogoff won a decent handicap at Pontefract and though 5lb higher would have a definite chance on that form, though she was well beaten by SCOTTISH SUMMIT over the track and trip in May. Geoff Harker's charge also won easily at Newmarket in July and though well beaten at York last time it was a much better race than this and he can carry his big weight to another victory.
