Makai is the tentative choice in another wide open contest with Park Lane Princess and Shaika the others to consider. The selection is not one to place a great deal of faith in but he did run encouragingly last time behind Danish Monarch at Lingfield and he will certainly appreciate the ground conditions. He looks the percentage call. Park Lane Princess has been running well of late but she is normally seen doing her best work at the finish so it is doubtful that this drop in trip will suit. Shaika was a fair third behind Desert Lightening last time and she certainly enjoys it when there is some juice in the ground so she has an obvious chance today. Franky'n'jonny is game and consistent and may prove best of the rest but for the winner we will return to Makai.
