        Verdict

        This is a well-contested nursery but Local Law must be thought capable of better as he’s started favourite in both starts to date. Eagle Terrace led until inside the final furlong when market leader at Newbury last month while Gordonstoun has won two of his last three, though is the most exposed. Cheekpieces might improve Distinction and Sammy Sunshine is not short of ability but there was a lot to like about BRUNNERA’s latest third on soft going at Newmarket and opening mark of 75 probably underestimates her potential.
