In depth
Verdict
Rapsgate gets the vote to win this maiden with Rose of Inchinor and Trophy Pride rating the main dangers. The selection would win this easily on his best form and although he has disappointed of late he looks the one to be on especially if first time blinkers brings about some improvement. Rose Of Inchinor rates the main danger as he hails from a yard whose two-year-olds can do no wrong at present and a reproduction of his latest third behind Riotous Applause would see him go close. Trophy Pride is another worthy of respect on her latest second behind Eversden but she gave the impression she would be suited by a longer trip on that occasion and on that basis looks opposable. Of the remainder Picador is a well bred type from a top yard and is sure to have come on for her debut run so is another that should be noted in the market but for the winner we return to Rapsgate.
