Trappeto, The Plainsman and Granary Girl are three against the field in this desperate seller and the confident vote is given to Trappeto. The selection was a fair fifth behind Whatatodo in a slightly better race last time out. That form sets the standard in the context of this race and under conditions that suit he looks the one to be on. The Plainsman rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Power Glory but that was over a longer distance and the drop in trip has to be of concern. Granary Girl is another worthy of respect on her latest fourth behind Danzare but she has had plenty of chances of late without taking one and is opposable on that basis. Jenna Stannis is from a yard in form and is dropping in grade so should be noted in the market while Persian Khanoom showed improved form last time out but that was on the All-Weather and for the winner we return to Trappeto who ran well last time out.
