      Verdict

      BALTIC KNIGHT (NAP) has been competing in pattern company for most of the year without success but won a conditions race at Haydock in September. He beat previous Doncaster winner Morache Music on that occasion and can confirm superiority in this. GM Hopkins' winning run came to an end raised 9lb for a tough handicap at York while Moohaarib is upped another 4lb for winning a lower grade contest at Pontefract. Cordite ran well at Leicester in between a couple of modest efforts and remains hard to predict.
