Verdict

Dawaam is race-fit but possibly needs further. Seasett was running over 1m2f in the autumn but was successful over track and trip around this time last year, though is still 10lb higher. Hafeet Alain has won on the all-weather since last seen on Turf and looks to have decent claims and this is a drop in class for David O’Meara’s recent acquisition Darkness. A Listed winner in his native France, the gelding had his first run for the yard in the Lincoln. Though well beaten, he still finished ahead of Fame And Acclaim and will strip fitter here. ARTHUR’S REALM won the consolation Spring Mile on Town Moor with a bit to spare so should make a bold bid to defy a 4lb rise and he could cap a good day for followers of Hollie Doyle.
