Verdict

GRAPHIC's only defeat in his last four came in the Cambridgeshire, where he still ran very well. He'll be facing much more testing conditions here but hopefully will handle the ground and is given the nod. He faces a big challenge from Breton Rock, who beat a huge field in a tough Ascot handicap last time and will love the ground conditions. Fulbright landed a Group 2 at Newmarket around this time last year and has competed at a much higher level than this subsequently and this will be the first time he's raced on soft ground since that victory. David O'Meara's French recruit Stand My Ground is a real mudlark though hasn't yet come up to scratch but Beaumont's Party has run two cracking races in testing conditions recently and is by no means out of this.
