In depth

Verdict

Lake Sabina gets the confident vote in this maiden with Leading Edge and Kintyre Lass rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair second behind La Chicaluna last time out. That form stands out in the context of this race and uin the hope that she acts on the ground she looks the one to be on. Leading Edge rates the main danger as he has shown enough in two runs to date to suggest he could win a race of this nature but he will be handicaped after this run and that is where his future may lie. Kintyre Lass was a fair third behind Distant Charm last time out and is another with place claims but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer. Of the remainder Mac Dalia ran with promise on his debut and is another that is sure to improve but for the winner we return to Lake Sabina.
