    Verdict

VINDOLANDA faced a more difficult task at Goodwood last time but won over today’s trip in soft ground at Haydock in July. She gets another chance with conditions to suit. Myseven won over 1m4f on the all-weather on her handicap debut while Jane Marple scored over the same trip in a maiden race at Newmarket and both have plenty of scope for further improvement if handling the going. The remainder all step up in class and distance with Viola preferred to Lyrical and East End Girl after scoring on the all-weather.
