Verdict
Roger Charlton has leading claims in this division too and Melodramatic may well be able to provide him with a quickfire double. Desert Chill, Aura, Flure De Leise and the expensive purchase Haqeeaq are possible dangers. The selection ran in a Listed race on debut and went into all the notebooks when returning in fourth, beaten just over a length and the form has worked out well. She was a short-priced favourite for her seasonal return as a result and did little wrong despite being beaten a head with the first two pulling a long way clear of the third; compensation awaits. Aura was a well-backed favourite in a maiden won by Infallible and is presumably thought capable of better, Desert Chill was favourite for both starts last year and was a shade unfortunate to bump into some useful sorts whilst Haqeeaq is well bred and fetched a fair sum at the sales. Flure De Leise is one that could go well at a price as she showed promise in a Cork maiden, finishing behind runners from the big yards but she's more of an each-way option whereas our selection, Melodramatic, is likely to be very short indeed.
