      Verdict

      LAJIDAAL won a weak maiden in some style at Pontefract and while he probably beat nothing of note, the further he went, the better he travelled and in receipt of all the allowances, he should be capable of a follow up. Chilly Filly stayed 1m4f around Pontefract last week so on this flatter track, there is a fair chance of her getting the extra distance. My Mate Max is ultra consistent and should give another good account of himself. Hat-trick seeking Fantino has been expertly placed this term though will be taking on tougher opposition this evening.
