Verdict

NOBLE STORM can land a competitive renewal of the Conditions Stakes. Ed McMahon's charge was a long way behind Wi Dud on his sole start this year but can reverse the form on these terms, as soft ground was very much against him that day. David Nicholls has a fine record in this so Masta Plasta, who has been in decent form this term, has to be respected along with Five Star Junior who wasn't beaten far in a warm handicap at Goodwood and may find this more to his liking. It'll be fascinating to see how Les Arcs fares after such an absence but Noble Storm is the pick of the weights and is fancied to advertise why.
