In depth

Verdict

Decima is upped 6lb for winning an amateurs' race at Beverley and John Caesar landed a double at the latter track last month but failed to figure at Ayr last week. A winner at Windsor in August, Essenaitch ran well again for third back at the same course while Perceived was narrowly beaten at Newcastle recently. But DUBAITWENTYTWENTY (NAP) ran much better than her finishing position suggests when fading badly inside the final furlong at Sandown on her handicap debut. That was her first start since January so Hugo Palmer’s filly is expected to be much sharper today and can land the spoils.
