Verdict
SUR EMPIRE likes to race prominently so dropping back to 6f shouldn't inconvenience Mark Johnston's Musselburgh runner-up and, getting 6lb, she can thwart the hat-trick bid of Robin Park. Richard Fahey's filly won over course and distance and at Newmarket last month but has been raised a further 5lb. Bath maiden winner Imtiyaaz is certainly capable of better and could complete a clean sweep for the classic generation with Syrian Pearl likely to prove the pick of the older fillies after an improved sixth here last time.
