Verdict

Phase Shift was placed in a few all-weather maidens at the end of last year but has shown very little in a couple of runs on turf this year and is taken on with TAKE A SPIN. He found only Gud Day too strong when dropped into this grade at Leicester last time and can go one better today. Urban Kode is the only previous winner in the race but penalised for his victory at Warwick earlier this month and, having already raced 14 times this year, doesn't have much in the way of scope.
