Verdict
At his best when able to get his feet in the ground, Pure Mischief looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to resume winning ways with Artistic Style and Got To Be Cash rated the main dangers. The selection comes here in good form and although slightly disappointing behind Trouble Mountain at Haydock last week this looks an easier contest. The selection's former inmate Got To Be Cash has a 6lb penalty to carry for his Chepstow success last week and is likely to find this tougher so a bigger threat may come from Artistic Style. Brian Ellison's Musselburgh selling winner lost no caste in defeat back in a handicap at Goodwood last time and is entitled to be thereabouts again over today's longer trip. The ex-Irish First Dynasty is gradually coming down the weights but could probably do with some more help from the handicapper. Similar comments apply to Dance World and Derwent and of more interest may be Nerys Dutfield's Curragh Gold, who is entitled to come on for his latest start but the vote goes to Pure Mischief.
