QUTOB (NAP), backed into favouritism on debut to beat a useful and more experienced sort in James Street, was ultimately inched out in a desperate finish. He had clearly been working well at home to be sent off market leader first time up and this looks a good opportunity for the son of Acclamation to go one better with that run under his belt. Camber showed promise on his Redcar debut and should come forward from the run, whilst the two obvious newcomers to focus upon are Make A Wish and With Envy, with the latter preferred of the two. Both receive the mandatory 5lb sex allowance, whilst Converter is also worth a market check and Four Wheel Drive has an each-way claim but looks more of a nursery type.
