Abydos has shown a consistent level of form in his four outings and deserves to get his head in front but Godolphin's colt may have to settle for a minor role again, with preference for Eco Centrism who gets the vote ahead of Aladdins Cave. The last mentioned lacks a previous run but is bred to be useful; however, Sir Michael Stoute's colt may want further to be seen at his best and looks best watched on his belated debut. Henry Cecil's Wraith disappointed on a softish surface last time and now looks best watched, while Drawn Gold is far from certain to stay this far. Lady Splodge showed some promise on her Bath debut and has claims but preference is for Eco Centrism. The William Haggas-trained colt looked as though he would come on a bundle for his belated reappearance run here at the beginning of the month and, with the longer trip likely to suit, he looks worth a bet.
