In depth

Verdict

Smile For Us, Buzzin' Boyzee and Light Mozart are the three to consider in this open handicap, and top weight Smile For Us is taken to make it a happy outcome for punters. After some respectable performances on the all-weather, Light Mozart stepped up on that when finishing second on her Turf debut at Folkestone, just run out of it in the closing stages. She is clearly progressing and looks sure to go well. Buzzin' Boyzee is a more exposed type, but he is a consistent performer at a low level, and his record of two wins from his last four starts commands respect. Smile For Us had been runner up three times on the all-weather before losing his maiden tag in spectacular fashion at Yarmouth last time, spreadeagling his field. He is relatively unexposed on Turf and Smile For Us is the selection.
