In depth

Verdict

Kummiya is a fascinating contender as Roger Charlton sends his gelding into all-age handicap company for the first time and the son of Dansili receives 11lb and upwards from all rivals with Kieran Shoemark's claim taken into account. A mile winner as a juvenile, he's yet to display sparkle this term but must be monitored in the market in case of strong support. Shamaheart has been admirably consistent for the Harker team and wins in his turn. All wins have come on the forecast good to firm ground and he looks sure to be involved at the business end. Mr Red Clubs has yet to win on turf but DUTCH ARTIST makes considerable appeal. He scored on his debut for David O'Meara after a near-20 month absence and has built on that the last twice. Arguably unlucky not to finish closer on both occasions, he should have no such concerns up the long Nottingham straight.
