In depth
Verdict
Cape Spirit has a career record of 0-13 but still houses some of the more appealing form this term if forgiven his penultimate outing when something was clearly wrong with the Cape Cross filly. She was much better last time behind Petrify and should be in the mix off a 2lb higher mark. Frosty The Snowman failed to score in his first 25 outings and then won two out of three, since when he's generally continued to perform with credit, Sleepy Haven will be all the better for his Hamilton reappearance and is respected along with Impeccability and Storm Check. MAGNOLIA RIDGE last scored on the level over two years ago but has been in good form over jumps, including when scoring at Market Rasen last time. That may spark some improvement back on the level off a tempting mark plus the claim of the useful Rachel Richardson.
