Verdict
Design, All Blue, Stage Left and High Charter look the principals in another maiden and the vote goes to Design. The selection is a Machiavellian gelding out of 5f and 1m winner Vitaba he is from a top yard and will not need to be anything special to win this. All Blue rates the main danger on his best form he did not appear to stay the 14 furlong trip when in mid-division behind Turnstile last time and with this shorter distance sure to suit he has definite place claims. Stage Left is a Nashwan filly, half-sister to 3 winners between 6f and 1m2f and is another from a top yard who is worth a cautionary look in the market. Of the remainder High Charter is a Polish Precedent gelding, full brother to smart stayer FirstCharter but he is bred to be suited by a longer trip and for that reason he is opposed. This is a tricky affair and the betting may well tell all but for the winner we return to Design.
