    Verdict

    Pompeia made a promising reappearance when third at Windsor and Ralph Beckett's filly, who is by Singspiel, gives the impression she'll stay this longer trip. But she might struggle to give weight to KIKONGA, who is bred to appreciate middle-distances this year. After a couple of runs over 7f at HQ, the latter came good when stepped up to a mile at Leicester in September and should have plenty more to offer. She has nothing to fear from Dalaway on the form book. Lovesome failed to follow up her Wolverhampton second at the same track next time.
